Reach truck driver in Venray

We’re hiring reach truck drivers for Sligro in Venray! The warehouse has departments with several temperatures: the cooler your department, the higher your salary.
 
As a reach truck driver, you’re responsible for storing, relocating, and picking pallets inside the warehouse. These reach trucks don’t have a camera. Sligro is active in the food sector, so HACCP guidelines must be followed. You’ll need to work by the Safety First principle and be careful when driving around your coworkers inside the warehouse. It is possible that you will also be deployed in other departments if necessary. 
 
There are three types of warehouses with different temperatures:
Dry groceries: at 15°C
Cold rooms: 2°C
Freezer: -18/-20°C
 
Working hours (subject to change):
06:00 – 16:30
07:00 – 15:15
08:00 – 16:30
Overtime and/or work on Saturdays are usually available if you ask

What do you bring?

  • You live near Venray and have your own transport to work
  • You know at least intermediate English or Dutch (B1 or better)
  • You have working experience in the food industry
  • You’re an experienced reach truck driver
  • You have a valid reach truck certificate
  • Valid EPT/forklift certificates are a plus
  • You don’t mind working in the cold (as low as -18 Celsius)
  • You’re accurate, work carefully, and are a good multitasker
  • You’re willing to work evenings or weekends (for a higher salary)
  • You’re looking for a long-term job
  • You have a reliable appearance at work
  • You have a clean criminal record (VOG)

Remarks

Sligro Food Group consists – besides Foodservice and Food retail – of a number of production companies where high-quality food is produced. The buying, selling, sales, and logistic processes are monitored by central management and then forwarded via the SLIGRO logistic systems. Each facility is managed by a Site Manager who takes part in a higher Management Team of Production Facilities.

Cantine facilities are really super good! Great salad bars, snacks, sandwiches, soups, etc against very low prices. There are over 40.000 different article numbers, so order picking is never boring.
