Visiting the 4 must do activities for autumn in Holland. Relax and do not burn out! It is very important to recover as well. So, though you probably came to The Netherlands to work, you must have some fun while you are here! This blog lists 4 of the best autumn activities that our country has to offer. They are in no particular order because they’re all so good… Decide yourself which is best!

Burger’s Zoo

You do not want to mis this one! Described as “My favorite place in The Netherlands!” by one of our employees, Burger’s Zoo is an experience you will truly enjoy. Whilst located in Arnhem and it’s one of the largest and most popular zoos in The Netherlands. Burger’s Zoo has enormous indoor exhibits, such as mangroves, a rainforest, a desert, and even Europe’s largest living coral reef. Because so much of the park is indoors, rain or cold won’t stop you from having fun at Burger’s Zoo!

Walibi Holland

Another of the top 4 activities. If you’re looking for thrills, visit Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen! This theme park, which used to be called Six Flags Holland, features 5 high-speed roller coasters and many other rides. In October, the park features Halloween-themed Fright Nights with lots of spooky actors and several haunted houses. Jump-scares guaranteed!

Rijksmuseum Amsterdam

If you are interested in art, culture, and history, you really have to pay a visit to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam! Find over 8.000 exhibitions of works of art and historical artifacts including the famous painting “The Nightguard”. However, interested in a visit of the Red Light district and have some time left? Consider the visit of one after another useum visit! Amsterdam offers so many museums, it is unbelievable. Amsterdam also houses the famous Van Gogh Museum, which is definitely worth a visit.

Light festival Glow

Glow is a famous yearly light festival, featuring a beautiful light-art walk in the city of Eindhoven. Admire Glow 2024 from November 9-16th. The route can be walked for free Or pay a small €2 fee and get access to an audio tour which you can listen to via your phone. Bonus Tip
