Accommodations while working in the Netherlands!

Do you want to start working in the Netherlands with accommodation? On this page, we’ll give you detailed information about how we provide housing for our employees. When you work with us in the Netherlands, we’re happy to provide housing for you as well!

There’s a housing shortage in the Netherlands, but you won’t need to worry about that: we offer comfortable and affordable job agency accommodation close to your new job. Your comfort is important to us, because the better you feel at home, the better you’ll feel at work. That’s why we set high standards for our company accommodation, that comply with (and even exceed!) the housing norms of the
SNF.

Working in the Netherlands with accomodation

Practical information about your accomodation

As soon as we find you a job, we can arrange accommodation for you. Your accommodation will be as close as possible to your new job. We’ll send you pictures and everything you need to know about your new home. Before agreeing to any terms, you’ll know exactly how many housemates you’ll have, if you’ll have a roommate, and how much your rent will be. Your rent is deducted from your salary every week and will usually be around €90/week after applying the Extra-territorial tax discount.

Once you agree with the assigned company accommodation, you’ll receive our Regulations and a housing contract to sign. Then, it’s time for you to travel to your new home! Upon your arrival we’ll give you your house keys and one of your housemates will show you around. If you decide to be an EU-People driver, you’ll get your car keys as well then.

Accommodation Features

As a job agency with accommodation, we do our very best to make our houses a comfortable place to live in. All our EU-People accommodations have a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of fridge space, comfortable bathrooms, separate toilets, and a large common living room to bond with your housemates. They also have nice outdoor seating in case you want to smoke (our houses are smoke-free) or get some fresh air. The bedrooms are shared by no more than two people and have comfortable beds and plenty of storage for personal items. From our company housing, it will only be a short drive or bike ride to work.

Shared Accommodation Options

If you’re working in the Netherlands with friends or your partner, we understand that you also want to live together. That’s why we do our very best to make this possible. By principle, we place colleagues together as much as we can. If you’re working with friends, we’ll try to place you in the same house or houses that are within walking distance from each other. And when working with your partner, we’ll make sure that you can share a bedroom.
