Certification Marks

Quality marks demonstrate that their holder meets established requirements of the certifying body.

At EU-People we attach great importance to the well-being of our clients and temporary workers, which we demonstrate through the quality marks we have earned and proudly display.

Every quality mark undergoes regular inspections, at least annually, and serves as ongoing proof that we meet the minimum requirements set by the quality mark.

SNA quality mark

SNA stands for Labour Standards Foundation (Stichting Normering Arbeid). The SNA quality mark was developed to limit the risks arising from the Chain Liability regulation (Ketenaansprakelijkheid). To prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes, the Chain Liability regulation holds every successive link in a chain of subcontractors liable for payment. For example, a hiring company could be held liable for payment if a temporary employment agency fails to remit payroll taxes.

When you work with us, you are protected against such risks, as proven by our SNA certificate. To minimize your liability risk as much as possible, we work with a blocked account (G-account).

Our SNA quality mark guarantees that we always follow the NEN 4400-1 standard, ensuring that our temporary employment activities are carried out strictly in accordance with Dutch legislation.

Thus, we are thoroughly inspected annually by Normec for the correct execution of, among other things:

Return and payment of payroll tax, value added tax, and social security contributions;

  • Identity checks;
  • Checks on the entitlement to perform work in the Netherlands;
  • Payment of wages in accordance with the Minimum Wage and Minimum Holiday Allowance Act;
  • Correct deduction of housing costs;
  • Travel expense reimbursement

Our administration, employee files, identity documents, and GDPR-compliant storage of these documents demonstrably meet this NEN 4400-1 requirement. Working with us means working without risks.

SNF quality mark

SNF stands for Stichting Normering Flexwonen (Standards Foundation for Flexible Housing). With our SNF quality mark, we at EU-People meet the standard for the housing of migrant workers. Through a comprehensive inspection by Normec, we prove annually that our housing meets the minimum requirements of the standard. We even easily exceed those requirements, resulting in satisfied employees and high retention. Partnering with us means the assurance that the provided housing is exceptionally well-arranged.

NBBU member, since 2008

The Dutch Association of Intermediary and Temporary Employment Agencies (NBBU) is a trade association for temporary employment agencies that represents the interests of more than 1,300 temporary employment agencies. The NBBU is involved in collective labor agreement (CLA) negotiations and provides advice on important legislative changes. In doing so, it represents its members and their employees, supports its members with knowledge and advice, and actively shapes innovations and their implementation in the flexible labor market.

NBBU members, including EU-People, are professionally operating companies that comply with laws and regulations across all complex areas of work. Naturally, they hold an SNA quality mark, among other credentials, and follow SNF regulations for the housing of flexible workers (see also our SNF certificate). As an NBBU employment agency, we strictly follow the NBBU Collective Labor Agreement (CAO).

Our temporary workers receive at least the same pay as the employees who are directly under contract with the client.

As a proud NBBU member, at EU-People we have our NBBU certificate – the result of regular collective labor agreement (CAO) audits.

G-account

At EU-People, we use a Blocked account (G-account) for the payment of payroll taxes and/or VAT to the Tax Authorities. Use of our G-account minimizes the chance that the Tax Authorities will hold our clients liable through the deployment of the Chain Liability Act can be held liable for social security contributions and VAT not paid by EU-People.

Our invoices include a separate line item for an amount equal to 29% of the invoice value (excluding VAT), payable to our G account. This amount is sufficient to protect you, our client, from any potential negative consequences.

We advise you to always pay your staffing partners via a G-account.

Statement of Payment History

With our Statement of Payment Conduct for Subcontractors' Liability, we can demonstrate that we have paid the declared and subsequently levied payroll taxes and VAT.
